Land Rover ’s new car has an integration with Tile , which sounds geeky as hell because it is . But it means one highly of import thing : if you get in the cable car without your pocketbook or key , your car will inform you of this .
Tile is a unproblematic little Bluetooth tracker that you confiscate to item to keep track of them . You pair each Tile to your earphone , and when you misplace your key , you enter the app , and make the Tile play a sound .
I ’ve been using them for the last year to keep trail of my various sets of key . It ’s great for finding material when you mislay it , but little else . sum in a tie beam - in to auto actually stimulate a long ton of good sense — there ’s never a prison term that I require to be in my railcar without my mansion keys or my pocketbook , but it happens painfully often .

I know what most of you are thinking — get sound at hold back track of your goddamn stuff and nonsense . Which is true ! But it ’s also 2016 , and I have Snapchats and Instagrams and Tweets to keep racetrack of or else , and there ’s only so much space inside my head .
Tile integration is coming to the 2017 Discovery Sport , but I ’m really hope Tile ’s partnerships do n’t stop there . All it takes is a Bluetooth connexion and a little software system magic — which practically every Modern car has anyway — so here ’s hop notecase reminders become as ubiquitous as cupholders .
