Ashlee Simpson RossandEvan Rossare about to hit a milestone.
The couple, who will be married for 10 years in August, opened up to PEOPLE about their anniversary in an exclusive interviewat the Chivas Regal Golden Hour Soireeduring New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.
“We have big things coming up at the end of the year,” Ashlee, 39, said. It’s our 10-year anniversary, I turn 40, my son turns 16."

“We always celebrate and have the best time, but I feel like it doesn’t have to just be that day,” the “Pieces of Me” singer said. “It’s finding those moments, which my husband’s so good at.”
She added: “I feel like if we haven’t had a moment, [he’ll] take me to a hotel or [if] we’ve been in kid land, he’ll surprise me with a nice together alone moment, which is nice.”
Evan, 35, said that it’s important for them to be “able to have fun” and “still be young.”
For Ashlee, it’s “not a night out.”
“I’ll do it, but it is really not for me anymore,” she said, adding: “We do always have fun together.”
She said that her ideal date night is actually “a movie, dinner and bed.”

Ashlee and Evan initially met at a friend’sbirthday partyand began dating in July 2013. Just a few months after they went public with their romance, they got engaged.They tied the knotin August 2014.
They have since welcomed two children together: sonZiggy Blu, 3, and daughterJagger Snow, 7. Simpson Ross also shares son Bronx Mowgli, 15, with ex-husbandPete Wentz.
