The fellers at Computer Shopperjust gave a rave reviewto this 11 - pound . 18.4″ monstrosity from Asus , saying it “ put forward the bar for all comer . ” Is n’t it just a desktop in camouflage ?
Look at the breakdown : Sure , it ’s got a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 and 320 GB 2.5″ knockout drive , but it also has 6 GB of RAM and dual ATI Radeon HD4870s . No admiration it “ sets young 3D - graphic and productivity - swiftness records . ” Computer Shopper goes on to praise its “ beautiful HD display , a powerful audio system , and an easy - to - purpose overclocking public-service corporation ” plus a “ generous ” warranty , all to the melodic line of $ 2200 . It ’s seriously impressive engineering , especially at that price ; Asus should be proud . But man , why would n’t you just get a desktop at that point ? Orbuild one ? Did I leave to mention its power adapter alone weighs an extra 2.2 pounds ? [ Computer Shopper ]
