But while hercustom 3-carat Neil Lane stunnersparkled more than the sea, we couldn’t help but wonder about the ring that got away. Luckily, we got the scoop from Neil himself.
“It’s totally opposite from the simplicity of the other one,” Lane reveals. “This one is totally decorated, It was complicated to make. There’s a lot happening there. It’s really beautiful and really dynamic.”

So what happens to the reject ring?
“Some go to reject ring heave,” Lane quips, adding, ” I rework them. I talk to them. ‘Who would you like to be next? Would you like to continue on as your are? Would you like to change?’ I dissemble them. I change the style. I’m always creating. I might fill in the baguettes and put all round diamonds there. It’s a very creative process for me and I don’t plan it. There is a DNA to my rings — there is vintage vibe with a very contemporary feel. ”
Will the ring be “reworked” forBachelor in Paradise? Probably not, but Lane also promised us some more exciting diamonds on this season of BIP. And we’re ready for ’em.
