Benny BlancoandSelena Gomezhave shared new details on what went into designing the bride-to-be’s engagement ring.The couple opened up toInterviewmagazine on the sparkler in their first joint interview, which comes two months after theyannounced their engagementon Instagram on Dec. 11, 2024.Blanco, 36,proposed to Gomez, 32, with a rock boasting a dazzling marquise diamond set on an eternity band, which many fans believed to be a nod to the latter’s song “Good for You,” in which she sings, “I’m a marquise diamond.”“Ever since the ‘Good for You’ days — that was, gosh, so many years ago — that’s the diamond I’ve always dreamed of,” Gomez confirmed.“I just tried not to f— up.
