In the latest exit of Empire Magazine ( via / Film ) , Ethan Hawke and Robert Eggers equate The Northman to Apocalypse Now , only with more “ bubble and farting ” Vikings .

It begins with screech Corvus corax ; within minutes there are man crawl about on all tetrad like dogs , burping and farting .

And [ The Northman ] is reaching for so much . It ’s like [ Eggers ] find an ancient Viking roll in a cave off the coast of Norway or something . It ’s an amazing school text . I ’ve often complained , ‘ How come nobody even tries to make Revelation Now any more ? ’ ”

In conversation withCollider , Denis Villeneuve revealed his script for Dune : Part Two is now “ mostly ” end .

The screenplay is finished mostly , but it ’s always a piece of work in onward motion . It ’ll be a piece of work in progress until last slice , but I will say it ’s solidify . I have a script in my hands . We are in prep right now .
