He even gave the newlyweds his phone number so that they could “make some music together.” This was especially meaningful to the musically driven couple, who formed a band together called"Black From Home.“Alexandre and Giles are from Boston originally, but met in July 2022 in Los Angeles, where they both live now. Giles was looking for a musician for a gig and found Alexandre on Instagram. As Alexandre says, “They had one practice, went to get food and have been getting food ever since.““I’m honestly kind of relieved that we’re married,” Giles says, pointing out that they no longer have to worry about paying for their nuptials and can instead focus on investing in their future together.“Last night was a dream. Today’s another dream,” Alexandre says. “I’m hoping every day moving forward is a dream.”
