He ’s already created it all over again , for the Army of the Twelve Monkeys . ( And his married man is already deadened , even though they promise to dispense with him . ) When Oliver require Cassandra to shoot him so he can never make the computer virus again , she seems very , very tempted — but then she tells him to scat and hide , instead .
While Cassandra confronts Oliver , Aaron is receive an offer from the Twelve Monkeys — if Aaron facilitate them , they will make certain Cassandra survives the pestis . He seems mighty tempted .
And in fact , when Cassandra talks about Oliver , and why she spare him , she advert that he was doing it to save the person he loved ( motif alarum ! ) , but that ’s no excuse . And Aaron seems to relate , in a very personal way , to the whim of sacrificing the earth to economise one soul .

But really , on reflection , it ’s reminding me more of Fringe — because all of that softheaded wheel - spinning plot developing is in the service of explore the notion of guilt , and of people who do unforgivable things in the name of their get laid ones .
