Tallahassee police report using a taser on a six - substructure llama , Scooter , after it ran around a local neighborhood for hours yesterday and generally galavanted about . The llama was eventually subdued to avoid an chance event and returned , and its owner will not front charges .
Local residents called in complaint and Scooter sightings throughout the night . Deputy Tony Drzewiecki note :
I ’ve been doing this 20 geezerhood and they said there is going to be a lot of excitement in this business , but no one ever evidence me I would get spit in the face by a llama and trampled by one .
It is ill-defined why the Sheriff ’s section elect to employ a tazer on the llama rather than tranquilize it . Run like the steer , Scooter . [ UPI , AP ]
