I learn the hard way : the Firefly 2 is a very powerful lapidator creature that will criticize you 2-dimensional on your hindquarters if you ’re not measured . It ’s passing portable and will easily slip into your back sack . It ’s also ridiculously round-eyed to use because it only has two buttons — both of which are touch capacitive and do the same thing . You charge the bowl up , put your fingers on the button , and begin inhale .
So that ’s what I did : I pull the vape out of its promotional material , load it for about 40 minute , loaded its bowl with delectable medical - grade herb , and start inhaling from its stubby spout . I apace learned the Firefly 2 heats up now , and if you load it up with the right greens , it will give you an insanely still , unclouded , redolent smash of your cute bud .
Now , you might be just as confused as I was : “ That ’s it ? That ’s all you have to do ? ” I was await more continuous maintenance , much like the whip vaporiser I used to own in college . I figured I ’d have to call down the bowl , watch the temperature , and constantly tamper with different element . But that ’s not what vaping with the Firefly 2 is like .
The Firefly 2 is a convection vape , mean that the leafage are only heated when you ’re inhaling . Also , through that heating process , the vape blows around your herbs inside the bowl , mixing them up so that they ’re heat equally . Every pull you take from this gadget is just like the first — and there ’s where I ran into trouble .
The trough on the Firefly 2 holds about as much as a standardchillem(or about 3 to 4 striking ) . I assumed that it would perform just as well as that type of short pipe , but peradventure it would be a little cleaner since the folio were n’t actually combusting . What I find out was that the small bowl , when packed to the rim , was actually a life-threatening amount to vaporize .
Do n’t get me wrong : I did n’t go allMaureen Dowd and lay in bedfor the next eight hours . But I was much more … raise … than common . The feeling was distinct and graphic . I was able to finish my thoughts and continue functioning as a normal grownup . But I was n’t normal at all .
It was like I was 30,000 feet in the melody looking down at everything . I feel slightly hit from the situation , but still able-bodied to function within it . Thankfully , the interest were low since my only responsibility that night was to deplete . And I ate like a famished animal .
But back to the vape : With the bowl packed to brim , I was able to draw seven longsighted , clean twist of thick vaporisation that , again , are more powerful than your stock joint hit . I did n’t coughing , but I could taste the herbaceous plant understandably . It was tasty . I bonk it . I could see myself using this twist on a regular basis . I did n’t have to worry about getting ashes everywhere or smelling up the room . The vape attain harder than anything else I could have used — and it was so much cleaner .
When I at long last fetch up the bowl , I emptied the equipment , and stood in my kitchen thinking . I could n’t stop fail over how easy it was to use . There had to be a haul .
So I decide to test the vaporiser over several nights . One of the downsides had to be the bombardment animation , I figured . How long could it possibly last if the twist was always getting cranked up to 400 point fahrenheit ?

The two battery are also enough for anyone just hanging around the house , or going over to a supporter ’s house for the nighttime . But , even though the batteries lasted for a long while , I would n’t recommend bringing the Firefly 2 to a concert .
The problem is that it ’s just not worth the supernumerary free weight and bulk of carry batteries around in your pocket . It ’s also not the easiest to adulterate while resist up .
apart from how hard it is to wad while stand up , there are n’t many shortcomings to the Firefly 2 . The vape is just as portable as a standard marijuana cigarette , but it ’s cleaner , less smelly , and will get you much high than any joint ever could — and for that , it ’s well worth its$330 terms tag .
