The kids over atCrackBerrygot their hands on the raw BlackberryKickstart8220 - the first flip telephone BlackBerry . And while they have yet to write a pure review , CrackBerry definitely likes the hardware , claim that RIM has not cheapened the chassis timbre for its insouciant hearing . But how does it match up to the BlackBerry Pearl ? Pretty well , they claim .
… the KickStart has a lot going for it – full-grown display , bigger / easy to type on keyboard and most important to some , OS version 4.6 . I find the side by side keyboard shots to be almost mirthful – the KickStart ’s keyboard makes the Pearl ’s look like Mini Me in comparison … the KickStart is a more masculine SureType option in the BlackBerry family .
I dunno though , the KickStart is thick , too , and that SureType keyboard is still inexplicably angle .
It ’ll be interesting to see what the critic say when examination is final . [ CrackBerry ]
