A Modern 300 GB grueling drive from Hitachi :
Hitachi Global Storage Technologies , the unit founded last January through the combination of Hitachi ’s and IBM ’s heavy drive line of work , said the 300 GB crusade is designed to palm tasks such as online transaction processing , data analysis and media cyclosis . Hitachi also said that next hebdomad it will shew 2.5 - inch and 3.5 - inch drives similar to product unveiled by challenger Seagate Technology and Fujitsu .
