Hunter Fieriand his fiancéeTara Bernsteinare naturally giving their wedding food a lot of thought!
Speaking with PEOPLE exclusively on Saturday during the Celebrity Chef Pickleball Tournament, which they co-hosted with Whispering Angel at theSouth Beach Wine & Food Festivalin Miami, Bernstein says the couple plans to go “full force” into wedding planning in March.
But as the son of Food Network hostGuy Fieri,Hunter, 27, admits that one key detail of the wedding is already on his mind.
“I mean, food is definitely like, one of the most important things,” Hunter tells PEOPLE, adding that when the pair announced that they got engaged onThanksgiving Day in 2023, so many people reached out to them about being invited to the wedding and cooking for it that he had thoughts of the event turning into a “food and wine festival.”

Bernstein, a professional pickleball player, says she’s going to make sure her guests are treated to “food and good drinks and rosé” all night.
Hunter confirms that he’s asked Guy to officiate the ceremony, but as of now his dad is unsure if that’s the role he wants to play on his son’s big day. Guy notably officiated101 gay weddingsin Miami in 2015 after Florida lifted the ban on same-sex marriage.
“He is my dad, I want him to be up there with me, but we’ll see,” Hunter says.
Earlier this week,Guy gave PEOPLEa few more details about the much-anticipated nuptials, which will be held at the same place the couple got engaged — the Fieri family ranch in Northern California.
“Everyone wants to cook for it,” Guy said, adding that Hunter and Bernstein’s wedding day is going to be “star-studded” and that his younger son, Ryder, 18, will be the best man.

Bernstein says she and Hunter are enjoying engaged life and that everyone is on the “same page” with planning.
