A Pennsylvania woman has been reunited with herdiamond wedding ringafter she lost it during her work shift as a cashier.

“I just looked down and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, my ring is gone!’ We tore the place apart. Everyone helped me, my boss came out, we looked all over the floor [and in] the garbage. I was crying. Couldn’t find it," she recalled to the outlet.

Tristani decided to post a plea on the Fayette County What’s Going On group on Facebook. Per the outlet, she wrote: “This is a long shot but if anyone was shopping at Burlington Uniontown today, I think my diamond ring might have fell in someone’s bag, so if you find it I would be so grateful if you could bring it to the store.”

She said a quick prayer and went back to work at her register, not feeling very optimistic about recovering her missing ring.

“It just so happened it was my mom’s birthday that day. She’s been dead for three years, but she could always find anything that was lost. I said, ‘Mom, please help me find this ring,’ ” Tristani told WPXI.

Amazingly, Burlington shopper Cait Giles happened to open Facebook in the car as her husband drove the pair home from their shopping outing. Tristani’s post about her lost ring was the first to pop up.

“I said, ‘Let’s pull over,’ " Giles recalled to WPXI.

“We had two shopping bags, a big one and a small one. I checked the big one, nothing there,” she continued. “Then I checked the smaller one. I took the sunglasses out and went to close the bag back up and heard a clink.' "

The couple drove back to Burlington and Giles ran into the store to return the ring to Tristani.

“It made my heart so full to give the ring back,” Giles told WPXI. “It was the best moment — one of the best moments of my life.”

Tristani feels grateful for Giles' kind gesture. “Cait is a wonderful person — she’s my angel,” she said.
