Another room inSimone Biles’ dream home is taking shape!
On Tuesday, the Olympic gold medalist, 26, shared a few construction updates on herInstagram Storyof her new Texas home that she’s building with her husband,Jonathan Owens. Biles has beendocumenting the progress of her waterfront homeon social media since September.
The series of photos and videos revealed the bare bones of a laundry room that is starting to come together. As she pans around the space, the view from the window overlooking the home’s surrounding lush greenery can be seen.
In an earlier shot, she appears to have brought her dog with her to admire the sliding glass doors and drywall at the construction site.

The house update comes after Biles hit amajor setback in the construction processat the end of November. She documented some of the issues on her Instagram Story and revealed that a 30-minute site visit ended up taking her six hours.
“I thought it was going to be a 30 minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into,” she captioned one video that showed off the home’s high ceilings.
“Called my dad for backup yesterday bc I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress & I’m so proud of myself,” she continued. “jonathan will deal with the end result oops……..I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things.”
