Speaking toAccess Hollywoodon the red carpet about how Tarek “is about to be on a new show with [his] ex-wife” Haack, he admitted “it’s extremely complicated,” but they manage to make things work.

He also promised thatThe Flip Offis “definitely entertaining.”
“It’s working,” Heather added.
Tarek later joked that things might be hard for Haack because she “is not as good as” him and Heather on the competition series, in which the exes "find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain,” per a synopsis.
“And also, she’s going through something very public as you guys know,” Heather told the outlet at the event, seemingly referring to Haack’s recent split from her estranged husbandJosh Hall, whofiled for divorce from her in July 2024.
“That’s been a lot of challenges, but it’s also been good," Heather continued.
Haack was married to Tarek from 2009 to 2018. The former coupleare parents toTaylor Reese El Moussa, 14, and Brayden James El Moussa, 9.

In 2018, Haack marriedAnt Anstead, with whom she shares son Hudson London Anstead, 5. Haack and Hall, 44, married in 2021.
Tarek and Heathertied the knotin 2021 and share sonTristan, 23 months.
“We’re here for anything she needs, honestly,” Tarek toldAccess Hollywoodof his ex-wife. “I know there’s a lot of stuff going on in the world between the co-parenting, but at the end of the day, we’re actually friends. We take care of each other, we’re really supportive.”
For Heather, the idea of setting Haack up with someone for 2025 isn’t too far-fetched.
“We just talked about that, actually, that we should screen all of the next guys, so I feel like we’d be good judges,” the reality star said of the idea.
Heather continued, “We are up for the challenge.”

During a scene from the premiere ofThe Flip Off, Tarek has a conversation with Haack at herNewport Beach, Calif. home, where she confesses, “Josh and I officially split up."
“We had a blow up… middle fingers in my face,” she told Tarek. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”

According to Haack, even her children wanted her to be done with Hall: “They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?”
